Step into Leeds
Step into Leeds is a University of Leeds outreach programme designed to support Post-16 students’ transition from school or college to university. Unlike individual-focused initiatives, Step into Leeds works directly with schools through their senior leadership teams to understand their needs and provide tailored support. It offers a structured way for schools to access the university’s diverse outreach activities, making them easier to navigate and, where necessary, supplementing with bespoke sessions for Year 12 and 13 groups. The programme was developed post-COVID to fill a gap in group-based engagement and strengthen relationships with schools.
