What sort of support do PGRs want from the Careers Service?

This report presents findings from a project examining PGRs’ perceptions of the Careers Service, based on survey responses and focus‑group discussions. Awareness of the service is high, yet many PGRs report limited relevance to their career needs, particularly in relation to employer engagement, academic career guidance, and support for international researchers. The analysis also outlines current initiatives, including targeted workshops, faculty collaborations, and development of a PGR‑focused careers fair, and identifies areas requiring further work to align provision with PGR expectations.
