I See Myself
I See Myself is a student‑centred initiative that creates culturally affirming spaces designed to strengthen belonging, confidence, and leadership among Black‑heritage students at the University of Leeds. Running for the first time in 2024–2025, the programme delivered workshops, peer discussions, and visibility of Black professionals, enabling students to build meaningful networks, develop practical skills, and articulate clearer goals. Participants reported increased motivation and self‑belief, highlighting the value of initiatives that actively offer relevant opportunities and community.
